I'm going on my 2nd or 3rd year with this featherbed. Quality is the same as the day I received it, but you do need to fluff...



cons: At the very least; once a month I have to fluff this. I'm 105 lbs. and a good 5 fluffs and it's as soft as a cloud. Fluffing it once a week would be ideal but not necessary.

pros: Good quality! I only have a 400 thread count sheet over this and I haven't had any issues with feathers coming through. Honestly, in 2 yrs, I can only remember 5-8 feathers escaping the bed.



I would buy this again, however I will also recommend the one made by Pacific Coast? They are very similar in reviews, quality and look. It used to be sold as the "Marriott Bed". You need to fluff less often, you have a little more cushion but there are aLOT of feathers that nudge you unless you have a mattress pad over it. I'd rate the Marriott Bed 1st then this one. I'm still keeping this one until it dies on me :-)

Put this onto of my mattress and was excellent. You do need to fluff daily so as to avoid flat spots. I'm still trying to figure out what best to use as a queen sheet seems to pull it a little to tight but makes it east to fluff. A flat sheet allows it to keep its form, but not good when shaking it out in the morning. Maybe some type of cover I'll try next.

When I first bought this pillow, the first thing I noticed was horrible odor that it had. I'm not quite sure how to explain it, but it smelled like dirty musk. Since the filling was mostly feathers, the pillow was prickly to the touch. You would need a very thick pillow cover just to get around that issue. I purchased the "Medium Firm" variety, but it was neither medium nor firm. The pillow had no volume and it could not serve its function as a pillow. Maybe the "Firm" version would be better in that respect, but I have a feeling that the odor would be much worse for that one.

Well, it to happen sometime. What I received was not what appeared as shown in the descriptive picture. I'd brought feather bed toppers before at chains (target, linens & things), so I knew what I did not want.

I paid more for this different style feather bed topper, paid for shipping and waited.

Today, I received my order. It is exactly the same product (including manufacturer's label) as sold locally in the chains. However, this topper appeared used: yellowed over large areas and having two small brown stains, ugh!! Adding insult to injury - featherbeds are non-returnable!! A cheated customer never returns.

We got this for Christmas last year. Our only complaint is that there isn't enough quilting to stop the feathers from bunching up on the sides and foot of the bed. If you turn throughout the night, you may want to spend a bit more. Otherwise, you'll end up with a depression where you sleep and will need to beat the feathers bak into place frequently
