I had to get new featherbed as soon as I got a new bed. I even have a piloowtop mattress but this is the icing on the cake. I fall to sleep immediately. Nice soft down top.

I'm going on my 2nd or 3rd year with this featherbed. Quality is the same as the day I received it, but you do need to fluff...
cons: At the very least; once a month I have to fluff this. I'm 105 lbs. and a good 5 fluffs and it's as soft as a cloud. Fluffing it once a week would be ideal but not necessary.
pros: Good quality! I only have a 400 thread count sheet over this and I haven't had any issues with feathers coming through. Honestly, in 2 yrs, I can only remember 5-8 feathers escaping the bed.
I would buy this again, however I will also recommend the one made by Pacific Coast? They are very similar in reviews, quality and look. It used to be sold as the "Marriott Bed". You need to fluff less often, you have a little more cushion but there are aLOT of feathers that nudge you unless you have a mattress pad over it. I'd rate the Marriott Bed 1st then this one. I'm still keeping this one until it dies on me :-)

Put this onto of my mattress and was excellent. You do need to fluff daily so as to avoid flat spots. I'm still trying to figure out what best to use as a queen sheet seems to pull it a little to tight but makes it east to fluff. A flat sheet allows it to keep its form, but not good when shaking it out in the morning. Maybe some type of cover I'll try next.

Very comfortable right out of the box. No funny smells, nor any stabbing feathers. Should fluff every 3rd week or so, but as expected, same as a pillow, right?

We needed a FIRM mattress but the max firm was too firm and the firm mattress topper (a.k.a. top of the line $2K)was too soft.
This topper has saved both our backs (I liked softer and have a ruptured disk) and my husband's (he wanted FIRM as in Chinese Hotel -- Hong Kong -- firm).
